Maryan Karpyk

is Head of the Sustainability Business Unit at msg global solutions. As an actuary (DAV) and certified accountant with a master's degree in business administration and many years of experience in implementation and product development, he combines accounting, risk management, and IT to create practical SAP-based end-to-end solutions. In his role, he is particularly responsible for SAP-based finance and sustainability topics, including SAP Sustainability Control Tower, SAP Footprint Management, and other solutions. Together with his team, he provides comprehensive support to customers: from strategy and ESG data collection and integration to anchoring in control, planning, and risk processes as well as in reporting (including ESRS/CSRD, EU taxonomy, IFRS, PCAF, TNFD, etc.).
